Division President Objectives
- Drive strategic planning and execution, focusing on achieving customer satisfaction and growth goals in the homebuilding sector.
- Oversee recruitment, hiring, and management of division personnel, ensuring alignment with the dynamic needs of new home construction projects.
- Approve and periodically review sales prices for new projects, responding to market trends and competitive conditions.
- Collaborate with division management on developing and producing innovative homebuilding products.
- Manage financing for construction starts, monitoring budgets and timelines for optimal project progression.
- Act as a liaison with developers and the building industry, promoting the company’s homebuilding operations within the community.
- Uphold the company’s contractual, policy, and ethical commitments, ensuring compliance with legal regulations.
- Continually improve customer satisfaction and quality programs, aiming to enhance the homebuyer experience.
Division President Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in a Vice President or Division President role within the home building industry.
- At least three years of experience in land acquisition and entitlement.
- Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
- Excellent analytical and writing skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas and strategies both individually and in groups. Public speaking experience is advantageous.
