CAD Operator and CNC Machine Operator

We’re teaming with a locally owned and operated specialty metal and wood company that specializes in stairs, railing, and millwork in search of an individual to perform Cad Operator and CNC machine operation.
Our client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of custom metal staircases for residential, multi-family, and commercial use. Supported by an excellent reputation, they are growing quickly throughout the southeast and based in Eatonton, GA, a short commute from Macon, Athens, Madison, Conyers, and Covington.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to read construction drawings and communicate with other team members, experience in AutoCAD and CNC machine programming, and experience in drafting.
CAD Operator Responsibilities:
- Develop highly detailed and accurate architectural construction documents using industry-leading software
- Consult with structural and mechanical engineers as necessary.
- Maintain project schedules and develop cost-efficient designs.
CAD Operator Responsibilities:
- 1-3 years experience with AutoCAD
- Bachelor’s or Associates degree
- Strong interpersonal skills and an effective communicator
- High energy with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work effectively on a fast-paced team in a professional environment
- Residential home building experience is a plus
