RESPONSIBILITIES OF PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER:
- Establish budget, schedule and manage new product development from conceptual design through final construction documentation to permit
- Review and redline construction documents for accuracy and quality
- Coordinate approval of design and construction documents from design review committees to permit
- Provide CAD support for single-family detached projects
- Provide design and construction support to internal departments and subcontractors
- Oversee projects to ensure design intent and construction through regular field visits, meetings with field project managers, and attend regular site meetings
- Respond, document and help manage the RFI process as related to architecture
- Process management and development
- Publish and maintain specifications for projects
QUALIFICATIONS OF PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER:
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture or 3 years equivalent experience in project management for architecture or residential construction
- Architecture license in the State of Colorado preferred
- 3 years of experience in residential architecture and wood framed construction, both attached and detached
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Detail oriented with strong communication and organization skills
- Professional demeanor with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Versatility and a team player attitude; willingness to work outside of basic job parameters
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Projects, OneNote, and Outlook
- 2 years’ experience working with AutoCAD
- 1-year experience working with SketchUp and Revit
- Completed OSHA 10-hour construction safety and health certification
